My Work With KOMRAD INVASION

So a few months ago I worked with Komrad Invasion to shoot their new collection. I’ve been so excited for the results & now it’s finally here.
They launched their new website and campaign on friday. I’m sooo happy with the result and now I can finally show it to you guys!
Let me know if you like it as much as I do and definitely check out the campaign video. It’s so weird to see myself with dark hair 🙂

So I changed my hair again, all the faded colors are out and I’m kind of grey. It’s not really how I wanted it to be, but I need to let my hair get better before I don’t have any at all.
I kept my make up very light, with a pop of color. Perfect for those hot summer days when you don’t really want to wear anything but still want something special. It’s such an easy look to achieve. You can just switch up the colors on the lower lash line and you have a new look every time. Would you rock this kind of look?

Faded Hair & Bright Lip

Hi Beauties! I have a very simple look with just a few products used. When I’m doing a soft look I always make sure my skin is flawless. Especially when I do a bright lip, I thinkg it’s necessary to have beautiful skin. I used an OCC Lip Tar and I’m obsessed with the formula of this product. You have to apply it with a brush, but it’s so easy and it stays on forever!
As you can see my hair faded a lot! In my previous posts you could see my hair was bright purple and after washing it a couple of times this is what it looks like. I like this faded look way more than the bright purple. I’m still thinking about my next color, any suggestions? 🙂

Top 10: Nude Lip Products

Hi Beauties,
Let’s talk about lipstick today!
I’m a huge fan of nude lips just because I mostly go bold on my eyes & brows. I also like how easy it is to do touch ups. You can just smack it on your lips and you’re good to go. Don’t get me wrong, I’m also a big fan of those vibrant colors, but lately I’ve just been wearing my nudes so that’s what we’re going to talk about today!

I’m gonna start of with my absolute favorite brand for lip products. You’ll probably already know. I’m a MAC FREAK! I just can’t help myself!IMG_6556

MAC Lip Pencil in Boldly Bare / MAC Lipsticks in Hue, Faux, Angel
& Creme D'Nude / MAC Cremesheen Glass in Fashion Scoop

The perfect nude lip pencil is definitely Boldly bare . You can even wear it on it’s own. It stays on for such a long time. I love this lipliner with the Fashion Scoop gloss on top! It’s more of a darker nude, but if you’re not used to wearing nudes and you feel like your lips just disappear try lining your lips with this it gives the appearance of fuller lips and it just gives a boost to your lipstick.

Hue is a very soft pink lipstick. It’s again, very easy to wear but you either love it or you hate it, also depending on your skin tone. It’s a glaze finish which means you’re not getting a lot of color pay off but it gives you a pretty shine on your lips. If you’re not a big fan of that you can probably stay away from this finish.

If you’re not a fan of the glaze formula you can better try Faux. It’s more of a semi-matte finish. This is that ‘your lips but better’ color, so easy to wear to work, shopping or whatever you’re up too. I think this is a must have in your make up bag. It stays on for such a long time and can I quickly say how much I just LOVE the smell of MAC lippies.

One of the most popular nude lipstick must be Angel and you can probably understand why after seeing that swatch. It’s the perfect pink color for probably anybody! It’s a frost finish so it’s very shiny, but with a lot of color pay off.

Creme D’Nude is a cremesheen finish and the word says it all. It’s a creamy texture with a beautiful sheen to it and they are very pigmented. If you want to blank out your lips this is the lipstick you need. I know a lot of people use concealer to blank our their lips, but it can really dry out your lips and make them crack. Not a pretty look to go for.

As you can see Fashion Scoop is a really soft pink lipgloss. I really like the cremesheen formula, it’s not drying on the lips or sticky. It’s perfect to top of any lip color. IMG_6554

Rimmel Apocalips in Phenomenon / Revlon Lipstick in 683 Demure / NYX
Lipgloss in 164 Nude Pink / Kiko Pencil Lipgloss in 60

Everybody raved about the Apocalips from Rimmel and I can really understand the hype. I own 3 shades of these lip lacquers. Phenomenon is a true nude color. It’s not the easiest product to apply, but ones you are used to it, you’ll love it! Ones this lacquer sets you can easily wear it for about 4/5 hours. You can also use this product over a lipstick just to give it that extra something.

This peachy nude lipstick, Demure by Revlon, is just perfection! I wore this almost every single day last summer and I still love it! It has a super glossy finish which is perfect for those warm days. It’s; again, so easy to apply, very creamy and pigmented.

I’m a big fan of NYX products, but in Belgium it’s not easy to get your hands on. I’ve been reading a lot of reviews online so that I can do an online purchase very soon. The name of this lipgloss says it all, Nude Pink. It does look more pink in the tube then it is on your lips. This product literally smells like candy, the twin cherry gummies! Delicious 🙂

Last but not least, KIKO Pencil Lipgloss 60. I was not expecting a lot of this product when I bought it, but I really like it. It’s very creamy, goes on smooth, doesn’t dry out my lips, good pigmentation. I was really surprised by it. You can even use this over your favorite lipstick. You have a few different colors in the collection so you can easily wear it on it’s own as well.

Well thank you all for reading this really long post! If you have any suggestions on nude lippies let me know, I’m always searching for some good nudes. April Favorites

A new month has already started & can I quickly mention how fast time is going. I can’t even believe it’s May already. I’ve been trying a few new products and have rediscovered a few oldies. Now let’s get down to business and talk about my April favorites!

IMG_6453
Illamasqua – Gleam Highlighter

I bought this a year ago when I was in L.A, but I didn’t like it so much at first. I rediscovered this product the past 2 months and now I’m obsessed with it. It gives you the most beautiful and natural highlight. It’s a cream product and it blends out like a dream. The best way to apply it is with your fingers, the warmth of your fingers makes it look flawless on your cheekbones.

Elizabeth Arden – Eight Hour Cream

Dry and cracked lips? This product will be your savior! It has a special smell to it, you either like it or you don’t. I use this product every single day before I put on my make up. It’s so moisturizing, since I have very dry lips, this is just what I need. I also use this to create a wet look on the eyes and it’s so pretty in pictures. I thinks this is a must have in everybody’s make up bag.

Too Faced – Leopard Bronzer

Such a beautiful bronzer. I bought this product about 2 years ago and I still love it. Now that summer is around the corner everybody wants that beautiful bronzed look. This bronzer is perfect to get that sun-kissed skin. I’ve been reaching for this product a lot lately.  It’s so easy to apply and to blend out. It’s has peach leopard printing through it so you can even use this as a blush.

MAC – Coral Bliss Lipstick

This is my go to lip color lately. I’ve been wearing a lot of peach en coral this month and I absolutely LOVE it. I’ve been adding a lot of these colors to my collection. Coral Bliss is a cremesheen finish, but it’s very opaque and it wears for about 3/4 hours. It’s a color that suits most skin tones and it’s very easy to wear. A perfect everyday color.

Anastasia Beverly Hills – Brow Pomade

I was so excited when I finally got my hands on this products. It makes filling in your brows so easy, it’s like an eyeliner for your brows. It’s very creamy and pigmented which means you can create clean brows in seconds. You may find it weird to use a cream product on your brows, but ones it sets it doesn’t budge! I also used it as an eyeliner and it works just fine.

MOTD & New Hair

IMG_6471 IMG_6473

Shocker, my hair is finally purple! I wanted this for such a long time, but bleaching my hair was never an option because I have very thin hair. I was scared it would just fall out. A week ago I finally decided to just do it. It was weird at first and I really had to get used to it, but now after a few days I absolutely love it!
If you want to know what products I used for this look, just keep on reading 🙂
