April Favorites

A new month has already started & can I quickly mention how fast time is going. I can’t even believe it’s May already. I’ve been trying a few new products and have rediscovered a few oldies. Now let’s get down to business and talk about my April favorites!

Illamasqua – Gleam Highlighter

I bought this a year ago when I was in L.A, but I didn’t like it so much at first. I rediscovered this product the past 2 months and now I’m obsessed with it. It gives you the most beautiful and natural highlight. It’s a cream product and it blends out like a dream. The best way to apply it is with your fingers, the warmth of your fingers makes it look flawless on your cheekbones.

Elizabeth Arden – Eight Hour Cream

Dry and cracked lips? This product will be your savior! It has a special smell to it, you either like it or you don’t. I use this product every single day before I put on my make up. It’s so moisturizing, since I have very dry lips, this is just what I need. I also use this to create a wet look on the eyes and it’s so pretty in pictures. I thinks this is a must have in everybody’s make up bag.

Too Faced – Leopard Bronzer

Such a beautiful bronzer. I bought this product about 2 years ago and I still love it. Now that summer is around the corner everybody wants that beautiful bronzed look. This bronzer is perfect to get that sun-kissed skin. I’ve been reaching for this product a lot lately.  It’s so easy to apply and to blend out. It’s has peach leopard printing through it so you can even use this as a blush.

MAC – Coral Bliss Lipstick

This is my go to lip color lately. I’ve been wearing a lot of peach en coral this month and I absolutely LOVE it. I’ve been adding a lot of these colors to my collection. Coral Bliss is a cremesheen finish, but it’s very opaque and it wears for about 3/4 hours. It’s a color that suits most skin tones and it’s very easy to wear. A perfect everyday color.

Anastasia Beverly Hills – Brow Pomade

I was so excited when I finally got my hands on this products. It makes filling in your brows so easy, it’s like an eyeliner for your brows. It’s very creamy and pigmented which means you can create clean brows in seconds. You may find it weird to use a cream product on your brows, but ones it sets it doesn’t budge! I also used it as an eyeliner and it works just fine.

My wishlist is growing every day and I’m so bumped about the fact that I can’t get most of these products in Belgium.
I think it’s about time I do some online shopping to get these products.

Tarte – Maracuja Oil
Even do I have combination skin, oils are great for every skin type so I really want to try this one and see what difference it makes in my skin.

Illamasqua – Skin Base Foundation
I heard so many good things about this foundation and I’m always on the hunt for a foundation that makes my skin look flawless.

Hourglass – Ambient Lighting Powder
A setting powder that has light reflecting particles in it. I think this might be even better than Emphasize Sculpting Powder by MAC, which I am totally obsessed with! I definitely need this in my life!

Smashbox – Full Exposure Palette
A neutral palette with shimmery shades on top and all matte shades on the bottom. A lot of brands are making these neutral palettes and I just want every single one!

Anastasia Beverly Hills – Dipbrow Pomade
I’m obsessed with brows and when I saw the launch of this product I was more than excited! It’s a gel texture which makes is very easy to sculpt your brows like a pro.

Tarte – Be MATTEnificent Amazonian Eye & Cheek Palette
Another neutral palette, I know, I just love neutrals way too much. A simple palette where you can create a day to night time look with.

Josie Maran – Argan Oil Light
Beauty oils are again very good for your skin and Josie Maran is famous for her oils. Too bad it’s so hard to get your hands on where I live.

Nars – Bronzing Powder in Laguna
A matte bronzer that is perfect for contouring. I saw this in a lot of tutorials and on blogs and I think I would really love this product. I love NARS blushers and I really want to try more of this fantastic brand!

GlamGlow – Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment
I LOVE the GlamGlow Super-Mud Clearing Treatment. It cleanse your pores and you really see a difference after you’ve used it. My skin got so much better after using this product and it looks like nothing else I’ve ever tried so I’m really eager to try more of this skin care brand.
