Empties & Review

empties

Hi Beauties,

I got a few empties to share with you again. Some of these products I got for such a long time and decided to use them all up. I got so much make-up that I have to do this once in a while. Now I know I used up a lot of products so it’s ok for me to buy new products 🙂 While it’s poring rain outside I can finally write this review. Don’t you love the sound of rain when you’re sitting under a blanket on the couch? I love it & it’s the perfect timing to share my thought with you on these products.

First up is the most amazing mask I’ve ever tried! GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment. I bought this product I think in february and I just fell in love with it. I always thought I took good are after my skin by cleansing, toning, moisturizing and doing a deep exfoliating after week. When I used this product for the first time I was shocked, but definitely in a good way. While the mask is drying you can just feel it working on your skin. After I’ve waited for about 15 minutes I got to the bathroom to wash my face and I could see al the junk that’s been cleared from my pores. You just have to try this mask! You will me amazed how many wonders it does for you skin.

On to mascara, I used up Opulash by MAC & Volume Million Lashes by L’oreal.
The MAC one is not my favorite, at all actually. For me personally the wand is way to big and it doesn’t really give me any volume or separates my lashes how I want it. The L’oreal one is one of my favorite mascara’s, it gives me a lot of volume and separates my lashes just how I want it. This is definitely a holy grail product for me.

Next up is some skincare Skin Perfection Serum by L’oreal. I used 2 bottles of this serum and I liked it at first but it seems like my skin got used to it so fast that it didn’t really to anything for me anymore. It’s a really good product, but I like to try new products a lot so it was time for a new serum.

For primer I finally used up the Porefessional by Benefit. I think probably ever make up addict knows about this primer. It fills in your pores without clogging them and makes your make up last all day. Anyone looking for a good primer, this is the one you need!

Another holy grail product for me, Pro Longwear Concealer by MAC. A full coverage concealer that is easy to blend and doesn’t crease under the eyes. I use this product every single day I wear make up. It’s just perfect for me. I tried a lot of concealers and still do, but I always come back to this one.

Next product was a disappointment for me. The Eyeliner Effet Faux Cils by YSL. It dried out so quickly and the felt tip just didn’t work for me at all. It wasn’t easy to use and I would not repurchase this product at all, especially not at a price of €31.

Now last, but definitely not least. The Brow Wiz by Anastasia Beverly Hills. Best brow pencil ever. It’s a wax texture that is very easy to use and it doesn’t move around once applied. You can shape your brow so quickly with this product and it saves me a lot of time in the morning which is perfect!

That was is for this post. Hope you guys now something more about these products and will help you if you’re searching for some new items to add to your collection. Thanks for reading and don’t forget to like my FB page and follow me on Instagram to see what I’m up to.

Heroine is back!

We’ve been waiting for this way too long, but it’s finally here. MAC Cosmetics brought back Heroine! A lipstick that every make up lover will know way to well. It’s a gorgeous vibrant purple with a matte finish. A daring color that you can wear in any season.
I’ve been dying to get my hands on this one & I’ve been wearing it a lot since I got it. I couldn’t wait to put it on when I bought it and forgot to take pictures when it was still brand new. For those that are wondering, the lipstick is now part of the permanent collection.
Did any of you got it already? If not, here are some swatches for you. Be prepared because you might want to run to the store to get it!

Maleficent Collection by MAC Cosmetics

Has anyone else saw this passing by on the internet?! I’m way too excited for this collection. The packaging looks superb and it’s definitely a collectors item. I’m very curious for that blush and the lip products. I just like it when the packaging is different and I always have to buy it. I’m gonna try to find the time and recreate the look Angelina is rocking or an ‘inspired by’ look. I know I will have a lot of fun doing this. I really like that theatrical make up as you may have seen.
Just a little over 2 months before the movie will be released. My best friend and I will be one of the first at the theatre that day!
I’m trying to found the time to blog as much as possible and it’s not been much lately, but things will get better 🙂 I’ll try to stay on schedule from now on. Hope you have an awesome weekend & thank you for reading my loves.

Top 5 blushes

Hi Beauties, today’s post is gonna be, well you guest it, all about my favorite blushes. I normally like a matte blush a lot, especially in summer time because my skin get’s more oily. But since it’s winter in Belgium I like to get out those shimmery, gorgeous & colorful blushes. This is my top 5 at the moment, what are your favorite blushes? Let me know so I can check out some new colors 🙂 Have a fantastic week!

Milani – Luminoso

Milani luminoso CU

This is just the most perfect and beautiful blush. It’s so easy to blend, very pigmented and it makes your skin look so healthy. You don’t even need a highlighter with this product. If any of you love Orgasm by Nars, this is an exact dupe for it, but just for a affordable price. It’s a peach toned blush with a gold sheen through it. One thing i don’t like about this is the packaging. It looks kind of cheap, but the product in it is so so good!

Nars – Deep Throat

4-deep-throat

Peachy/pink gorgeousness all over!  A very pigmented blush with again a golden sheen. I’ve been wearing this one a lot lately. It’s not so shimmery as Luminoso, it gives you more of a natural flush, but if you want you can definitely build the color up. It’s a very pricey product, but I didn’t regret spending the money on it. The packaging is matte black, sort of rubber and sleek. Very nice in my opinion.

MAC – Warm Soul

Perfect everyday blush. This was my first MAC product I ever bought and I still use this very often. Some days I just don’t know what blush I want to wear and I find me reaching for this one every single time. It’s, as the title says, a warm blush, in this case a bronze/rose color. When applied it gives you a gorgeous glow and I’m a big fan of that. It just makes you look healthy, but also gives you that natural flush of color.

Bobbi Brown – Apricot

bobbibrownapricot2

It’s can’t get any pinker than this. This is so girly and bright which means you have to be very light handed when applying this. Just use a little and build the color up, that way it’s easier to blend and it will look more natural. It’s a very smooth texture and it looks very pretty when applied correct. I don’t like to use this by itself in these cold months just because my skin is to dry. I use this matte blush and then go on to my next favorite.

MAC – Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Superb

Superb

I bought this about a month ago and I can’t imagine my make up routine without it. As I said above this I apply this over my blush when I use a matte one. Just a little bit on the top of my cheekbones and little dust it over my cheeks. It gives you again a beautiful glow. This product is limited edition as it came out in the Magnetic Nude Collection. It has a pink undertone which I normally don’t like in highlighters, but this one is Superb!

Colorful NYE Look

Hi Beauties,
I finally find the time to post my NYE look for you guys. I’ve been so busy the past week and I hope I find the time to make a tutorial for you guys very soon! I went for a very colorful look on NYE, something I don’t wear that often and I made it one of my NY resolutions to start wearing more colorful looks. I used the Vice 2 palette to create this look and it’s just perfect for every look you want to create. I’ve been reaching for this palette a lot since I got it.
If you want a tutorial on this look or one that I previously posted please let me know. I wish you all the best of luck in 2014 and make those dreams come true! It’s gonna be difficult most of the time, but just keep on going and you’ll get there, one way or another 🙂
