Top 10: Nude Lip Products

Hi Beauties,
Let’s talk about lipstick today!
I’m a huge fan of nude lips just because I mostly go bold on my eyes & brows. I also like how easy it is to do touch ups. You can just smack it on your lips and you’re good to go. Don’t get me wrong, I’m also a big fan of those vibrant colors, but lately I’ve just been wearing my nudes so that’s what we’re going to talk about today!

I’m gonna start of with my absolute favorite brand for lip products. You’ll probably already know. I’m a MAC FREAK! I just can’t help myself!IMG_6556

MAC Lip Pencil in Boldly Bare / MAC Lipsticks in Hue, Faux, Angel
& Creme D'Nude / MAC Cremesheen Glass in Fashion Scoop

The perfect nude lip pencil is definitely Boldly bare . You can even wear it on it’s own. It stays on for such a long time. I love this lipliner with the Fashion Scoop gloss on top! It’s more of a darker nude, but if you’re not used to wearing nudes and you feel like your lips just disappear try lining your lips with this it gives the appearance of fuller lips and it just gives a boost to your lipstick.

Hue is a very soft pink lipstick. It’s again, very easy to wear but you either love it or you hate it, also depending on your skin tone. It’s a glaze finish which means you’re not getting a lot of color pay off but it gives you a pretty shine on your lips. If you’re not a big fan of that you can probably stay away from this finish.

If you’re not a fan of the glaze formula you can better try Faux. It’s more of a semi-matte finish. This is that ‘your lips but better’ color, so easy to wear to work, shopping or whatever you’re up too. I think this is a must have in your make up bag. It stays on for such a long time and can I quickly say how much I just LOVE the smell of MAC lippies.

One of the most popular nude lipstick must be Angel and you can probably understand why after seeing that swatch. It’s the perfect pink color for probably anybody! It’s a frost finish so it’s very shiny, but with a lot of color pay off.

Creme D’Nude is a cremesheen finish and the word says it all. It’s a creamy texture with a beautiful sheen to it and they are very pigmented. If you want to blank out your lips this is the lipstick you need. I know a lot of people use concealer to blank our their lips, but it can really dry out your lips and make them crack. Not a pretty look to go for.

As you can see Fashion Scoop is a really soft pink lipgloss. I really like the cremesheen formula, it’s not drying on the lips or sticky. It’s perfect to top of any lip color. IMG_6554

Rimmel Apocalips in Phenomenon / Revlon Lipstick in 683 Demure / NYX
Lipgloss in 164 Nude Pink / Kiko Pencil Lipgloss in 60

Everybody raved about the Apocalips from Rimmel and I can really understand the hype. I own 3 shades of these lip lacquers. Phenomenon is a true nude color. It’s not the easiest product to apply, but ones you are used to it, you’ll love it! Ones this lacquer sets you can easily wear it for about 4/5 hours. You can also use this product over a lipstick just to give it that extra something.

This peachy nude lipstick, Demure by Revlon, is just perfection! I wore this almost every single day last summer and I still love it! It has a super glossy finish which is perfect for those warm days. It’s; again, so easy to apply, very creamy and pigmented.

I’m a big fan of NYX products, but in Belgium it’s not easy to get your hands on. I’ve been reading a lot of reviews online so that I can do an online purchase very soon. The name of this lipgloss says it all, Nude Pink. It does look more pink in the tube then it is on your lips. This product literally smells like candy, the twin cherry gummies! Delicious 🙂

Last but not least, KIKO Pencil Lipgloss 60. I was not expecting a lot of this product when I bought it, but I really like it. It’s very creamy, goes on smooth, doesn’t dry out my lips, good pigmentation. I was really surprised by it. You can even use this over your favorite lipstick. You have a few different colors in the collection so you can easily wear it on it’s own as well.

Well thank you all for reading this really long post! If you have any suggestions on nude lippies let me know, I’m always searching for some good nudes.
